Wasatch Public Media (“WPM”) is a Utah non-profit corporation formed on September 12, 2007 for the sole purpose of acquiring KCPW from Community Wireless of Park City (“CW”), a Utah non-profit corporation. WPM began operating KCPW on May 1, 2008 through an operating agreement with CW. The purchase of KCPW was completed on September 24, 2008.

Paul Bruno
Paul Bruno is a marketing and creative entrepreneur who fulfills the printing, promotional products and decorated apparel requirements for some of the most prestigious corporations and institutions in the Intermountain West through his company, Bruno Group Signature Events. Paul has actively participated as a volunteer and/or board member with several public entities over the past 35 years and was instrumental in expanding the reach and programming of one of Northern California’s premier public radio stations, KHSU. Upon relocating to Utah in 1984, Paul became a dedicated volunteer at KPCW and participated in the discussions and planning sessions that eventually led to the formation of KCPW.
Tim Chambless
Tim grew up in Texas and California where he wrote stories for high school and college campus newspapers. He has been married 39 years to his wife, Cathy. Since 1988, Tim has been a Political Science professor at the University of Utah where he teaches courses in Politics, Government and Law. Through the years, Tim has participated in various local and national public radio programs as a commentator or guest expert. He listens to public radio every day and is a self-described news junkie.
Glen Feighery
For the past decade, Glen has taught news writing, editing, environmental reporting and media ethics (among other courses) at the University of Utah. Prior to this, he spent more than 15 years as a reporter and editor for daily newspapers in Nevada, Ohio, Mississippi, and Tennessee. Glen has advised the campus chapter of the Society of Professional Journalists and served on the board of the Utah Headliners (professional) chapter of the SPJ. He is the Associate Chair and Director of Undergraduate Studies at the University of Utah’s Department of Communication.

Notice of Public Meetings
Commencing October 1, 2009, Notice of Wasatch Public Media Board of Director meetings and Friends of KCPW Council meetings, including time and place, will be posted at this site at least seven days prior to the meetings. All meetings are open to the public. Minutes of the meetings will be placed in the Public File at KCPW and can be viewed during normal business hours of the station.
